Formed
in 2006, CarrierClass Site Development, LLC (CCSD) provides
management consulting and infrastructure deployment services to the
broadband telecommunications industry.
CCSD
delivers a wide range of expertly implemented and managed services
and systems to wireless service providers, corporations, public
entities and owners of towers and other antenna supporting
structure.
We work
with wireless service providers, broadband service provides,
government entities, tower companies and real estate portfolio
owners in the Mid-Atlantic States, including Pennsylvania, New
Jersey, Maryland and New York.
With
over 20 years combined hands-on experience in the broadband
telecommunications arena, CCSD’s founders, Jim
Innes, CEO, and Rich Lemanowicz, Esq.,
have worked directly with every major wireless service provider,
including Cingular Wireless, Nextel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Verizon
Wireless, XM Radio, as well as other broadband service providers
such as Comcast, Mediacom, and Level 3, multiple government
entities, major tower companies and real estate portfolio owners.
CCSD is
unique in that its management team has in-depth expertise in
wireless backhaul systems and site hardening. We have managed
hundreds of co-location projects to completion for all the major
telecommunication companies. Additionally, we have managed hundreds
of site portfolios, including towers and rooftops.
Our
name - CarrierClass - captures our philosophy: our work meets the
most rigorous capacity, performance, scalability, availability and
network management requirements of network service providers
anywhere.

CarrierClass Towers' two principals, Jim Innes, CEO, and Rich
Lemanowicz, Esq., COO and General Counsel, have more than 20 years of hands-on
experience in the broadband telecommunications arena. Innes and
Lemanowicz have worked directly with every major wireless service
provider, including Cingular Wireless, Nextel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile,
Verizon Wireless, XM Radio, as well as other broadband service
providers such as Comcast, Mediacom, and Level 3, multiple
government entities, major tower companies, and real estate
portfolio owners.

James E. Innes, II
Chief Executive Officer |
Jim
Innes is the CarrierClass Group's Chief Executive Officer. Innes has
played an active role in expanding Pennsylvania’s telecommunications
infrastructure since 1985 when he joined the pioneering microwave
“bypass” carrier MetroNet Communications. Since then, he has held
management positions with Glasgal Communications, MicroNet
Communications, Apex Site Management and American Tower Corp., all
involving their activities in Pennsylvania.
At
MetroNet, Innes initiated managed projects as from a wireless
Ethernet connection for a major pharmaceutical company to a
broadband medical imaging transmission system, then only the second
to be implemented in the U.S. He was a part of the original senior
management team at start up Apex Site Management, later sold to
SpectraSite. At American Tower Corp., he held a variety of
positions including management of ATC’s nationwide managed site
portfolio and business development for their portfolio of hardened
“bunker” telecommunications sites.
After
ATC, Innes co-founded Broadband Network Development and joined
Wireless Access Technologies as a principal where he started up and
ran a successful wireless backhaul systems implementation business
serving Cingular Wireless and others. He also developed and managed
WAT’s rooftop management business including clients such as
AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and Advance Realty.
Innes
is now founder and president of the CarrierClass Group. Based in Plymouth Meeting, PA,
CarrierClass provides wireless
backhaul systems provisioning for wireless service providers, public
safety communications network operators and enterprise network
managers. CarrierClass also provides antenna site management services and
develops multi-user antenna sites for third parties and for its own
portfolio.
Innes,
a free-lance writer and commentator on a variety of
telecommunications topics, is a founding Board member of the
Pennsylvania Wireless Association and a member of the Radio Club of
America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the
University of Pennsylvania.

Richard J. Lemanowicz,
Esq.,
Chief Operating Officer and
General Counsel |
Richard
J. Lemanowicz, CarrierClass Group's COO and General Counsel, is a Pennsylvania-based attorney who specializes in wireless
site zoning and permitting. Lemanowicz has extensive experience in
telecommunications, land use, real estate, construction and
development, and environmental matters. His areas of practice also
extend to business litigation and construction litigation.
Lemanowicz is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the New Jersey
Bar. He is licensed to practice law in the United States District
Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as in the
United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Lemanowicz is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New
Jersey Bar Association, the Federal Communications Bar Association,
and the American Society of Landscape Architects.
He
earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. He
holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Temple
University.

years’ experience in the broadband telecommunications field, we have
solid and extensive relationships with outstanding municipal land
use planners and site acquisition consultants throughout the
mid-Atlantic. Our consultants are well versed in the nuances of
communication tower development projects and the specific permitting
and procedural requirements at the state and local levels.
We work with site acquisition consultants in
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Delaware and Virginia
to identify and procure viable sites for communication towers.
